Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”- An open, running App Connect page and a selected component with data to inspect.
Open Data for the current page
Section titled “Open Data for the current page”Open the page, select the relevant element, and open Data in Selection Panels. Click Refresh after an interaction when you need a new snapshot.
Expand the source and field
Section titled “Expand the source and field”Select the data-owning component, then expand its data tree to the object or array item containing the field used by the page. Compare the actual field name and value with the binding. An empty string, null, a missing property and an empty array have different meanings.
Check where the mismatch begins
Section titled “Check where the mismatch begins”If the field is absent, inspect the action output in Network. If the field is present but the wrong record is selected, check repeat or detail scope. Use the Data Bindings picker to edit bindings; inspecting the Data panel does not insert a binding automatically.
Check your result
Section titled “Check your result”You can identify the field, its current value and whether it is missing, null or empty.
