Settings and execution

| Expression | The value to compare with each case. For example, a validated status string can be matched against draft or published. |
| Case | An ordered list of values and their nested execution steps. The first match runs and ends the case search. No matching case means no case steps execute. |
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”Use a status expression with cases draft and published. Put a different output message in each case and run the action with both values and an unmatched value. If you need fallback behavior, add a separate explicit condition rather than assuming an implicit default case.
Check the behavior and limits
Section titled “Check the behavior and limits”Match value types deliberately. Node.js uses strict equality. The installed PHP implementation compares numeric values as numbers, coerces comparisons involving booleans, and otherwise compares strictly. Do not rely on implicit cross-type matches when changing server models.
