Generate a time-based UUID identifier string.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”| Setting | Meaning and example |
|---|---|
| Name | Names the returned UUID7 string. The inspector’s declared boolean output type is not the runtime result type. |
| Output | Includes the generated string in the response. Default off. |
Verification example
Section titled “Verification example”Generate UUID7 values in a test action and check their format with a UUID-aware validator. The Node.js implementation delegates to the project’s uuid package; ensure the installed dependency provides v7. Store the returned string in an appropriately sized identifier field.
Behavior and limits
Section titled “Behavior and limits”Time-based identifiers expose ordering/time information and must not be used as secret access tokens. Do not assume strict chronological ordering across machines or clock changes. The installed Node.js runtime declares uuid ^14.0.1; an unrelated older uuid dependency from an editor or another project cannot test this action reliably.
Use the complete authentication flow
Section titled “Use the complete authentication flow”Use the security and login guides for the surrounding provider, form, session and server-access configuration.
Check your result
Section titled “Check your result”You can configure the documented fields and distinguish a successful result from the failure or limitation described here.
