Part Meaning
Incoming fieldThe template defines $_POST.file as a file input. The editor’s upload request must use that field name.
Generated uploadCreates file_upload bound to that field, with a default /files/summernote destination and Throw Errors on. Add size/type/access validation and select the actual target folder.
Generated responseCreates an output value named url from file_upload.url. Confirm that the file is publicly served or provide a deliberately protected URL workflow.

Configure the generated upload destination for a disposable test file and connect the Summernote upload setting to this action. Submit a supported file and verify that the returned url references the saved file. In a standard Node.js project, public server destinations need the /public prefix even though the browser URL omits it.

The default template path is not a portable deployment configuration. It does not automatically validate content, associate the file with an authorized record, or provide a private-file download policy. Confirm the object/array output shape for the submitted file field.

Inspect the actual generated or included steps, their inputs and their final output before connecting the action to a user-facing page.

You can identify what this editor entry adds and configure or interpret it without assuming an unfinished scaffold is a completed workflow.
