Settings and execution
Section titled “Settings and execution”| Setting | Meaning |

| Condition | Re-evaluated before each iteration. The nested work must eventually make it false, or another exit condition must stop the loop. |
| Max Iterations | Caps iterations. Use an explicit positive integer such as 3 during testing. Omission allows a very large runtime limit; zero is not a reliable way to disable the loop. |
| Exec | The nested steps to run on each iteration. Use Break for a deliberate early exit. |
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”Initialize a global action-scope counter to 0 with Set Value. Set Condition to counter < 3 and Max Iterations to 3. Inside Exec, set the same Global Name counter to counter + 1. After the loop, output counter and confirm it is 3.
Check the behavior and limits
Section titled “Check the behavior and limits”Changing a step’s local Name alone is not a persistent loop counter. Make the state update and maximum explicit. A loop that never changes its condition can keep a request occupied until its limit or infrastructure timeout.
