Set Session

Settings and execution

| Name | The session key to write, for example preferred_language. |
| Value | The evaluated value to store. Read it in later server requests as $_SESSION.preferred_language when the same session is retained. |
Worked example
Section titled “Worked example”Write Name preferred_language and Value en. In a later request from the same browser session, return the corresponding $_SESSION value in a temporary test action and confirm it is en. Check a separate session to confirm it does not share the value.
Check the behavior and limits
Section titled “Check the behavior and limits”Server sessions are different from App Connect Session Manager, which uses browser sessionStorage. Setting a session key is not a Security Provider login. Session middleware, cookies and session expiry determine persistence.
